Middle School Sports

Epiphany of the Lord Catholic School participate in the Greater Houston Catholic Athletic Association (GHCAA) for Middle School Athletics. This league is available for students in 6th – 8th Grade and in some instances, 5th graders will be allowed to participate.

Most of these sports will conduct a tryout for participation and students will be selected for the Varsity and Junior Varsity teams when numbers allow to have two teams.

The teams will practice a few days a week with games during the week. Typically, there are 2 games during the week with practice days in between the games. Track meets will take place on Saturdays. In addition to the games, both Varsity and Junior Varsity teams will participate in tournaments during the season that usually take place on Fridays and Saturdays. Playoffs will take place for each Varsity sport when the team qualifies for the playoffs.
