Returning to School 2020

Rooted in Catholic tradition, Epiphany of the Lord Catholic School promotes growth in the foundations of faith, knowledge, compassion, and character.

Typically, the beginning of August is a time when every family with school-age children begins to focus their attention on the process that we have come to refer to as “back-to-school.”  This upcoming academic year is unlike any back-to-school experience that our children, or we as adults, have ever experienced.  Mindful as well of the continued concerns over the current spread of COVID-19 cases in our region, we understand that every parent must make responsible decisions for their entire family when discerning the health and safety options for their children’s back-to-school plans.

We ask each family to carefully explore each section of our School Reopening Plan as you consider the learning environment best suited for your family.  Please keep in mind that the descriptions were written for review by both parents and students, and they are intended to be viewed in their entirety.

We also know from our collective experience of this unprecedented pandemic that some of our current plans will continue to require necessary adjustments, based on health and safety developments and guidelines from county officials and the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. Updates will continue to be made to this plan and posted to this website.

Our love of Christ and dedication to His time-tested Mission on earth propel us to give of ourselves until we know that we have placed our faith entirely on His grace and His love.  Let us also invoke the powerful intercession and protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Seat of Wisdom, during this time of back-to-school preparation as we pray for a most hopeful and memorable academic year of learning and spiritual growth

Devotedly yours in Christ,

Rev. Tom Lam                                          Dr. Nicholas Morgan
