Physical activity is important in developing skills for a healthy lifestyle. The students at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic School participate in developmental activities related to isometric exercise and develop fundamental movement skills using space, time and energy. The students engage in a variety of games and activities to develop strategic skills and exhibit positive safety practices, all while demonstrating Christian-like conduct and encouraging their spiritual development and building their self-confidence and self-esteem.
The Physical Education at Epiphany of the Lord Catholic School is aligned with the state requirements.
Our goals are to provide each ECS student with an opportunity to participate in activities that will foster physical skills, a sense of self worth and competence, a knowledge and understanding of the pleasures of sports, daily exercise, and the principles of fair play and Christian sportsmanship all rooted in our 4 foundations: Faith, Knowledge, Compassion and Character.
